A Quilt for my Daughter

I love Kaffe Fassett's fabric. This quilt is made from a Kaffe Fassett's Collective Design Jelly Roll called Blues

I photocopied the stripes in a gray scale to help me arrange the stripes from light to dark colours

 The quilt is made by cutting 24 black stripes to the same lenght as the Jelly Roll. Then divide 18 of the black stripes into 36 halfs. Now cut each of the 36 stripes into random size stripes, but keep them as pairs.
Piece one pair of black stripes with one full lenght of a black stripe, three stripes to each end of the quilt. Continue piecing pair of black stripes to the Kaffe Fassett Jelly Roll
